DiabloSport at Jeep Beach 2014

The Jeep owner is one of the most curious people I have ever met. You will see them from time to time driving down the road and you may notice they always wave to one another when they pass. It is like they all belong to the same tribe. You will even see them congregating together in a parking lot meeting. They never park within lines but decide to show the capabilities of their Jeep by driving on top of one another’s tires, leaving one of the Jeeps at 45 degree angle to the ground.

Seeing these events you might think that Jeep customer is free in the wild while driving his Jeep on the road and to certain parking lot Jeep gatherings. This couldn’t further from the truth. The Jeep is not truly free until they can take their Jeep off-road at an event like Jeep Beach organized by the Mid Florida Jeep Club. An off-road event that draws thousands of Jeep owners to Daytona Beach to cruise the world famous sandy beaches and off-road trails constructed inside the Daytona Speedway.

When they are in their free form they are even harder to understand. They display traits that would make other car owners weep, such as showing true exultation at a smashed-in a fender on a brand new Jeep, or the shouting from the hood of their Jeep with a broken axle in hand. After hours of watching them in the wild, you start to learn that perhaps they are right and the rest of the world is wrong. The Jeep owner truly experiences their vehicle as an extension of themselves. As one Jeep owner told me, “These experiences will last forever and they will make more fenders.” When is the last time you had an experience like that in your Prius.

Luckily, DiabloSport is there to enhance your “experience of a lifetime” by adding more power and torque to your Jeep, with increased throttle response and our new crawl tunes, and allowing you to adjust for bigger wheels and tires. As soon as you are ready to enter into the wild, DiabloSport will be there with “Power You Can Feel”. Visit www.diablosport.com to learn more about all of DiabloSport's tuners.

What a Ride!

The sun is coming up on Daytona Beach and I get handed the keys to one the baddest supercharged vehicles I have ever seen.  It is black on black and with the rising sun glinting of the morning dew it looks menacing. I hit the unlock button and slide into the seat as I look around the cockpit a huge smile comes across face as I notice the stick shift. Push in the clutch, turn the key, the engine instantly comes to life, and the rumble from exhaust interrupts the morning silence. It sounds as good as it looks.

Idling from the parking lot to Atlantic Avenue I look left and then right there is no traffic to be seen. I feel like Christmas morning when I let the clutch out and motor out onto the road. I let the RPM’s rise and shift into 2nd the lovely sound of the blow off valve as I switch gears. Throttle pushed to the floor as we head for third torque pushing me back into the seat. Moving through the gears faster and faster. Then that panic mood when I realize I am doing 70 mph in a 35. Slow down and enjoy the ride out to the one of the most famous race tracks in the country, Daytona Speedway. Home of the famous Daytona 500 and hundreds of other famous speed related events. The best thing about driving there is going through the tunnel to get to the infield. Everyone know what coming next. Push in the clutch rev the engine up and listen to the great echo, supercharger whine, blow off valve, and exhaust vibrate off the tunnel walls.

Parking the vehicle into our vendor space you may be asking yourself what it is I am driving. I am sure most of you are thinking Mustang GT 500, Corvette ZL1, Cadillac CTS-V, or perhaps even a supercharged SRT8 Challenger. In reality it was a RIPP Supercharge 2012 Jeep Wrangler. A vehicle with 37 inch tires, tires taller than most of the muscle cars I mentioned, shouldn’t be this fun to drive. This Wrangler makes 325 WHP and has all the cool features of a lift kit and enough LED lights to blind the sun.

DiabloSport makes it all possible with our tuners, Trinity and inTune, and our custom tuning software, CMR. Without our tuners to give you back all the extra power you lost when you added your bigger tires and lift kit taking your Jeep off-road is not near as fun. Not to mention without the Custom Tuning Software no power adder is able to be added to your Jeep. That means no supercharges, turbos, or even long tube headers. 2013 Ram Support is here from DiabloSport

The Ram truck has been the leader in the ½ ton market for years. We took this into consideration when producing a performance programmer for the 2013 Ram Truck. We knew if we didn’t knock it out of the park we would have thousands of disappointed Ram owners on our hands. While we may not have been first to market with our Ram truck tuner we can guarantee you we stepped up to the plate and hit a home run with this tuner. The difference in our tuner compared to the competition will make it worth the wait.

The tunes included are; 93 Octane Performance Tune (Diablo Tune), 91 Octane Performance Tune, 87 Octane Performance Tune, and Mileage Booster Tune (Gains up to 3 MPG savings).

Our tunes are calibrated specifically to improve performance, drivability, and economy and reduce the factory's power-robbing "torque management" to put more power to the ground when you need it. Other options include MDS (Multi-Displacement System) disable, speedometer adjustment for gear and tire changes, and raising speed and rev limiters.

Visit www.diablosport.com to learn everything about the Trinity and inTune I-1000-DCX and the DiabloSport world famous "canned" tunes.

Watch for the 2014 Ram truck tunes coming soon.
